Un recorrido cronológico y de carácter psicosociológico de la evolución del Estado desde sus formulaciones primitivas hasta el moderno Estado constitucional. Este detallado trabajo supone, sin duda, la réplica más certera que ha recibido jamás la teoría del «contrato social del Estado», propuesta por la mayoría de los pensadores políticos desde la Ilustración.
